Head of Real Estate Development (International Real Estate Investment Manager)
A leading international real estate investment and development platform is seeking an experienced Head of Logistics Development to drive the expansion of its logistics and industrial footprint across the Middle East.
This senior role will focus on identifying and executing strategic growth opportunities, particularly within the UAE logistics and industrial real estate sector. Working closely with the firm's global leadership team, the successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing investments, securing land opportunities, and building a high-quality logistics portfolio in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and execution of growth opportunities across the logistics and industrial real estate sector in the Middle East.
- Originate and evaluate potential investments including land acquisitions, development opportunities, and portfolio transactions.
- Develop strategic business plans to support regional expansion and enhance long-term value creation.
- Conduct commercial and financial analysis, feasibility studies, and market assessments for potential projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with developers, landowners, government entities, and industry stakeholders to unlock new opportunities.
- Support the structuring and execution of partnerships, joint ventures, and investment transactions.
- Work closely with internal teams across investment, development, and asset management to maximise performance of logistics assets.
- Provide regular insights on market dynamics, pipeline opportunities, and investment performance to senior leadership.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience (typically 1520+ years) within real estate, with a strong focus on logistics or industrial assets.
- Proven track record in land acquisition, development origination, and investment transactions within the UAE or wider GCC.
- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and development processes.
- Established network across developers, investors, advisors, and public sector stakeholders.
- Commercially minded with strong financial and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in an international environment.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
