Job Title

Head of Cybersecurity Sales – MEA

Location: Middle East (regional coverage)

Hays is partnered with a leading global technology and services organization is seeking a high‑impact, revenue‑driven leader to head Cybersecurity Sales for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. This role carries full accountability for driving aggressive growth, winning large transformational deals, and expanding market share across strategic enterprise and public-sector accounts.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of cybersecurity domain expertise, hunter mentality, and CXO‑level sales leadership, with a proven track record of closing multi‑million‑dollar deals across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Ownership & Growth

  • Own and deliver regional cybersecurity revenue targets with clear accountability for bookings and margins.
  • Build and execute a high‑growth sales strategy to expand the organization's cybersecurity footprint across MEA.
  • Drive pipeline creation, qualification, and conversion across new logos and existing strategic accounts.
  • Lead and close large, complex, multi‑year cybersecurity engagements.

2. Strategic Sales & Deal Leadership

  • Serve as the primary deal sponsor and deal maker for strategic cybersecurity opportunities.
  • Lead end‑to‑end enterprise sales cycles including solution positioning, pricing strategy, commercial negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Shape and win RFPs/RFIs through differentiated, value‑led propositions.
  • Collaborate closely with global and regional delivery, pre‑sales, and advisory teams to build competitive and innovative solutions.

3. CXO Engagement & Client Acquisition

  • Build trusted relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and senior business stakeholders across key industries.
  • Position the organization as a strategic cybersecurity transformation partner.
  • Drive consultative selling by aligning security solutions with business outcomes, resilience, and risk mitigation.

4. Market Expansion & Go‑To‑Market (GTM) Strategy

  • Identify and penetrate high‑growth markets and priority industry verticals such as BFSI, Energy, Government, Telecom, and Retail.
  • Develop and execute region‑specific GTM strategies aligned to local cybersecurity needs and regulations.
  • Stay ahead of the regional threat landscape, regulatory requirements, and market trends to shape relevant offerings.

5. Cybersecurity Solutions Expertise

Demonstrated ability to sell end‑to‑end cybersecurity services, including but not limited to:

  • Managed Security Services (SOC, SIEM, MDR/XDR)
  • Cloud Security (major hyperscalers)
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM / PAM)
  • Application Security & DevSecOps
  • Data Security & Privacy
  • Network Security & Zero Trust Architectures
  • OT / ICS Security (with emphasis on critical infrastructure sectors)

Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value, ROI, and outcomes‑driven propositions.

6. Alliances & Ecosystem Enablement

  • Leverage strategic partnerships with leading cybersecurity technology vendors and hyperscalers to drive joint pursuits.
  • Build and execute co‑sell strategies, alliance‑led GTM motions, and ecosystem‑driven deal acceleration.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of professional experience, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity sales, business development, or strategic accounts.
  • Proven record of consistently exceeding sales targets and closing large‑scale deals (USD 5M+).
  • Deep understanding of the MEA cybersecurity market, including customer buying behavior and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong consultative and solution‑selling capabilities in complex enterprise environments.
  • Ability to navigate multi‑stakeholder, multi‑cycle sales engagements.

Preferred Skills

  • Established CXO‑level relationships across the MEA region.
  • Strong knowledge of regional cybersecurity regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, communication abilities, and executive presence.
