Job Description

Job Title: Head of Sales

Job Summary

The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and sales excellence across the company's personal care and food product portfolios. This role will lead the national sales strategy, manage key accounts and channels, and build a high-performing sales organization aligned with the company's business objectives in the Egyptian market.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for personal care and food product lines across Egypt.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales leadership team and field sales force to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Drive distribution expansion, channel development (modern trade, traditional trade, wholesalers, distributors), and key account growth.
  • Build strong relationships with strategic customers, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Own sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and production teams to align demand planning, promotions, and product launches.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure pricing strategies, trade schemes, and promotions support profitability and brand positioning.
  • Establish KPIs, sales processes, and governance to drive consistent execution and accountability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience with a strong background in personal care, food, FMCG, or related industries.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing large sales teams and senior sales managers.
  • Mandatory experience in Egypt, with deep understanding of the local market, trade structures, and distribution networks.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales organizations within FMCG environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
