Job Title: Head of Science Location: Cairo, Egypt Start Date: August 2026
School Description: A BSME-accredited British International School in Cairo, Egypt is seeking an experienced Head of Science to lead its Science department from August 2026. The school follows the British curriculum and is committed to high academic standards, innovative teaching, and continuous school improvement within a supportive international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Science department across relevant key stages
Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development
Support and develop teaching staff within the department
Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and student progress
Contribute to whole-school initiatives and academic leadership Requirements:
A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification
A minimum of two years experience teaching within the British curriculum
Previous leadership or departmental management experience preferred
Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to raising attainment Salary & Benefits:
Salary: 38k-42k per annum, tax-free (70% paid in GBP)
