ABOUT JOB:
The Head of Water Engineering will be responsible in managing projects, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of water engineering design solutions. This role involves both technical leadership, business development, and strategic management to drive project success and business growth.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Management and oversight of water engineering projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering professional growth and development.
- Lead the design and execution of complex urban water projects, including wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, transmission networks, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to identify project requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Lead business development initiatives by preparing proposals, participating in client meetings, and identifying new project opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and regulations to maintain the firm's competitive edge in water engineering.
- Strategic planning, budget and resource management .
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field. PHD is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in water engineering, with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects including wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and transmission networks.
- Strong project delivery experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
