About the Role
The Health Informatics Consultant will lead and advise on the design, implementation, and optimization of clinical information systems and health IT initiatives. The role supports large-scale healthcare IT programs by aligning clinical, technical, and business requirements to deliver compliant, efficient, and user-centered digital health solutions. This position involves close collaboration with clinical stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and leadership to drive interoperability, system integration, data governance, and digital transformation across healthcare environments.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Clinical Sciences, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in IT projects, including 10+ years working with Clinical Information Systems within healthcare environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with EHR/EMR systems, clinical workflows, healthcare data standards, and interoperability frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead complex health IT initiatives, including system analysis, implementation, optimization, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent understanding of healthcare regulations, clinical governance, and data privacy principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions.
- Professional certifications such as CPHIMS, CBAP, and/or CAHIMS are mandatory.
- A collaborative mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare settings.
