A leading Construction Project is urgently hiring for the role of HSE Officer
QUALIFICATION:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
- Additional professional certification such as NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent) is highly preferred
- Training in First Aid and Fire Safety is an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HSE role
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures
- Perform regular site inspections and safety audits
- Monitor and enforce proper use of PPE by all personnel
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports
- Review and approve method statements and risk assessments (MSRA)
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills
- Identify unsafe conditions/behaviors and take corrective actions
- Liaise with site teams to ensure safe work practices
- Promote a proactive safety culture across the project

- Candidate should have a valid Iqama ID minimum of 3 months 2026
