MNC Engineering is an Electromechanical Engineering venture that emerged in 2020, driven by the aspirations of highly experienced engineers. In our 6 years of operation, our crew has successfully undertaken large and small-scale commercial and heavy industrial projects through direct and sub-contracting.

Our team brings specialized knowledge acquired from prestigious projects for clients including Ministry Of Presidential Affairs (MOPA), Ministry of Community Development (MOCD), Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI), Presidential Court, ADNOC, Mubadala, and the Command of Military Works (CMW). Role Overview

The HSE Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and monitoring of all safety protocols on project sites. With 36 years of experience, you will ensure that all MEP activitiessuch as working at heights, electrical live-testing, and hot worksare conducted in total compliance with UAE Federal Laws and local authority frameworks (OSHAD/ADM). Your goal is to foster a proactive safety culture that prevents accidents before they occur.

Key Responsibilities
  • HSE Plan Implementation: Develop and implement project-specific HSE Plans and Emergency Response Plans in line with client and authority requirements.
  • Risk Management: Prepare and review detailed Risk Assessments (RA) and Method Statements (MS) for all high-risk MEP activities.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct daily site safety walkthroughs to identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Incident Investigation: Lead the investigation of any near-misses or accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
  • Authority Liaison: Ensure site compliance with OSHAD, Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM), and Civil Defense regulations.
  • Training & Inductions: Conduct safety inductions for all new personnel and subcontractors. Deliver daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) focused on specific site risks.
  • Permit to Work (PTW): Manage and monitor the Permit to Work system for high-risk activities like confined space entry, crane lifting, and hot works.
  • Equipment Inspection: Verify that all site machinery, tools, and lifting equipment have valid third-party certificates and are in safe working condition.
  • Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly HSE statistics reports, including Man-Hours worked, LTI (Lost Time Injury) frequency, and safety observations.
  • Environmental Oversight: Monitor waste management procedures and ensure proper storage and disposal of hazardous chemicals/materials on-site.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Environmental Science.
  • Certifications: * NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory).
  • OSHAD Practitioner Registration (Grade A/B/C).
  • First Aid and Fire Marshal training certificates.
  • Experience: 36 years of HSE experience in the UAE construction/MEP industry.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE Federal Law and OSHAD SF.
  • Expertise in MEP-specific safety (LOTO procedures, scaffolding, electrical safety).
  • Language Skills:
  • English: Professional fluency (Written & Verbal) for reporting and authority liaison.
  • Hindi/Urdu:Strongly Preferred. Ability to communicate fluently in Hindi is a major plus to ensure safety instructions and training are clearly understood by the site labor force.

  • Communication: Ability to communicate firmly yet professionally with both site labor and senior management.
  • Observational Skills: A sharp eye for identifying hidden hazards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Decisiveness: Authority to stop work immediately if a life-threatening hazard is identified.
