Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer with strong, proven expertise in incident and accident investigation, including high-potential incidents and serious injuries. The role is critical in driving safety excellence across large-scale real estate and construction projects by identifying root causes, preventing recurrence, and embedding a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead thorough investigations of all incidents, accidents, near misses, and high-potential events using recognized Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
- Prepare clear, professional incident investigation reports for senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify trends and recurring issues through data analysis and recommend practical, corrective, and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure effective implementation and follow-up of corrective actions across projects and sites.
- Communicate lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across all business units.
- Oversee the implementation of HSSE policies, procedures, and systems across construction sites and operational facilities.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to reduce incident recurrence.
- Work closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure full HSSE compliance.
- Train and mentor site safety teams on incident reporting and professional investigation techniques.
- Support emergency response planning and crisis management when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent (mandatory).
- Advanced certifications in Incident Investigation / Root Cause Analysis are highly preferred.
