Job Description

Job Title: HSE Supervisor – Railway Project

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Supervisor to join our team for a major Railway Infrastructure Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising all health, safety, and environmental activities on site, ensuring full compliance with project requirements, legal regulations, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and enforce all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures on site
  • Conduct daily site inspections, safety walks, and risk assessments across all railway construction activities
  • Monitor compliance with HSE plans, method statements, PTW systems, and safe work procedures
  • Identify unsafe acts and conditions, and implement immediate corrective actions
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for site personnel
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and prepare detailed reports with corrective measures
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety signage and site controls
  • Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and management to maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records, incident logs, and compliance reports
  • Ensure all activities comply with railway authority requirements, local regulations, and international safety standards

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of HSE experience, preferably in railway, metro, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects
  • Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent
  • Preferred:

    • Previous experience in railway / metro / infrastructure projects
    • GCC / Middle East project experience is an advantage
    • Immediate joiners preferred
