Key Responsibilities:
- Certification and Compliance: Responsible for the certification and authorization of landing sites, including helipads and aerodromes, ensuring adherence to aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Safety Oversight: Perform rigorous inspections, audits, and surveillance of existing and proposed landing sites to ascertain compliance with safety regulations and operational requirements.
- Operational Management: Manage and oversee the operational aspects of heliports and private landing strips, ensuring design specifications and management requirements meet regulatory compliance.
- Change Management: Implement change processes and assess competencies related to landing sites, ensuring continuous safety oversight and improvement.
- Best Practices Implementation: Establish and enforce operational procedures to ensure the safety of helicopter operations and effective use of landing sites.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with regulatory authorities, engineering teams, and operational staff to facilitate compliance and optimize landing site functionality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in aviation, engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience related role.
- Proven experience in the assessment and management of landing sites or aerodromes.
- Deep knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.
