Job Description

Job Purpose:

The HORECA Sales Manager is responsible for growing the companys presence in the HORECA channel (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafs, Catering), focusing on selling high-quality jam and preserve products. This role involves managing key accounts, expanding the customer base, and leading sales operations within the foodservice segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the HORECA sector.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with hotels, restaurants, cafs, catering services, and food distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Lead and support a dedicated HORECA sales team.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (supply chain, production, marketing) to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and agreements to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct regular client visits and on-ground market checks to ensure visibility and quality service.
  • Attend industry events and represent the brand professionally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food sales, including at least 23 years in HORECA sales.
  • Strong experience in the food or FMCG industry is essential; experience in jams, spreads, or premium food products is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong market knowledge and ability to build long-term B2B relationships.
  • Owning a car is a must (field visits and client meetings required).
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
