Hostess

Role Description

The Hostess is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for welcoming guests and setting the tone for their dining experience at Amaya Restaurant & Lounge. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations and walk-ins, coordinating table assignments with the service team, and maintaining an organized host stand and waiting area. The role involves answering phone inquiries with professional etiquette, providing accurate information about the menu and venue, and helping manage guest flow during peak hours. The Hostess also supports the overall guest experience by addressing special requests, resolving minor issues promptly, and ensuring that all guests feel recognized and appreciated from arrival to departure.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to build rapport and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills and professional Phone Etiquette to handle guest inquiries and coordinate with the team.
• Candidates should possess experience with Reservations management, including booking, confirming, and organizing guest seating.
• Candidates should possess a polished and professional demeanor, with a guest-focused mindset and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in hospitality, fine dining, or luxury lifestyle venues is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
