Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Reservations Agent with 1 year of
hands-on experience using Opera PMS and Opera Cloud. The role involves managing hotel
reservations efficiently, ensuring data accuracy, maximizing revenue opportunities, and
delivering excellent guest service across all reservation channels.
Key Responsibilities
Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, website, and online travel agencies
(OTAs).
Create, modify, and cancel reservations using the Opera system.
Provide accurate information on room availability, rates, packages, and hotel
services.
Ensure correct entry of guest details, payment methods, and special requests.
Upsell room types, promotions, and additional hotel services to increase revenue.
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Revenue Management, and Sales teams.
Monitor inventory, rate plans, and booking restrictions.
Handle guest requests and concerns professionally to ensure high satisfaction.
Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a reservations agent in a hotel environment.
Proven experience with Opera PMS and Opera Cloud is required.
Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
Good understanding of hotel reservation processes and distribution channels.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
