Job Description

Job Purpose / Summary

To deliver and mange HC support services and facilitate in delivering business strategies and performance:

  • Work with HR functions to align HR services to Business unit needs
  • Manage HR compliance
  • Mange staff daily issue
  • Manage the system changes and requirement
  • Manging daily/ monthly and quarterly HC reporting

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilites

Partner with the SR. HRBP and the leadership team to drive business performance by designing and delivering high-impact people functions:

  • Know and understand the Group and the SBU's financial position, midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
  • Know, understand (and speak about) the drivers of SBU success and compliance with bank policy and the strategic options.
  • Assess the HR implications of strategic options.
  • Consult to the leader and the top team to drive performance
  • Deliver HR programs.
  • Provide constructive input into business discussions

HR-Business Linkage

  • Identify the functions/businesses HR requirements, help the heads and line managers to prioritize and build organizational capabilities, and provide business voice and context to HR in order to ensure that requirements are acted upon effectively and tailored solutions are delivered to solve the business needs.
  • Monitor trends in employment practices and coach business mangers on employee relations and matters as appropriate to enable them to deal with issues more effectively.
  • Process and co-conduct various HR activities and analysis in coordination with various HR functional experts and line managers such as internal or external recruitment interviews, facilitating the performance management and calibration sessions etc. in order to meet business requirements.
  • Contribute to the identification of Work with the HR functions to align services to SBU needs
  • Know and understand the HR processes and how SBU HRBP decisions and advice affect SBU outcomes

HR Compliance

  • Apply business acumen and influencing skills to manage redeployment in line with our values and our business plans.
  • Annual leave plans implemented on time.
  • Retirees exited gracefully and on time.
  • Apply knowledge of legal requirements to ensure people matters are well managed, reducing risk and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the HC functions and the legal department as needed.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, objective investigations in line with policy. Coach managers to implement effective consequence management.

Statements And Reports

  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet CBQ and department requirements, policies and standards.

Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment

  • Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

Related Assignments

  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Relationships

  • Build and maintain relationships with respective functions/business and respond to all their queries regarding HR aspects to enable them ensure that the required support and information is provided to them.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Business or equivalent.

Required Experience

3-5 years relevant experience in HR or related function.
