Role Overview

We are hiring a hands-on HR Manager within our People function to take full ownership of performance management, employee development, and core people operations across our fast-scaling, global business.

This is not a corporate HR role. We are looking for a builder and operator who thrives in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment and brings rigor and structure to a high-growth business.

Reporting to one of the Co-Founders, you will be responsible for owning and continuously improving performance management and talent development, while acting as a culture champion and trusted partner to leadership. You will fully own review cycles, goal setting, employee guidance, and progressively take on broader strategic people operations beyond existing administrative support.

What You'll Do

  • Performance Management & Development
  • Own and manage the end-to-end performance management framework from goal setting, through to feedback & development planning.
  • Deliver your first full performance review cycle within the first 3 months.
  • Establish clear standards for performance, progression, and accountability.
  • Partner closely with managers to upskill them on feedback, performance conversations, and people leadership.

Generalist & Operations

  • Provide oversight and direction to our HR operations team.
  • Build and implement scalable operational standards, ensuring clear accountability across all core HR processes.
  • Develop, update, and provide guidance on company policies and procedures
  • Ensure consistency and quality across the employee lifecycle.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all HR related issues for the leadership team, business and portfolio companies.

Culture & Employee Engagement

  • Act as a culture champion across the HQ, driving employee engagement and people initiatives.
  • Reinforce company values through behaviors, and leadership practices.

Tooling, Data & Metrics

  • Implement and manage HR tools and systems.
  • Build meaningful and actionable people metrics and dashboards (performance, engagement, retention, etc.).
  • Use data to inform decisions and continuously improve people practices.

Success in the First 612 Months

  • First performance review cycle successfully completed within 6 months.
  • Fully embedded with leadership and teams, with a deep understanding of how the business and portfolio companies operate.
  • Improved manager capability in people leadership.
  • Visible impact on culture, clarity, and accountability.

Who You Are

  • Experience & Background
  • Strong startup or scale-up experience (required).
  • Background as a hands-on HR/People operator, not a corporate HR generalist.
  • Experience owning and building people processes from the ground up.
  • Comfortable operating in complexity and ambiguity.

Skills & Attributes

  • Deep expertise in performance management and people development.
  • Highly operational, detail oriented, and process driven.
  • Strong management and stakeholder skills; able to challenge and influence leadership.
  • Data-literate, with experience using metrics to drive outcomes.
  • Naturally inclined to ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
