Job Description

Role Overview

This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting various HR financial activities that enable smooth and efficient workforce management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full monthly payroll cycle for Arab bank employees.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of retention initiatives and compensation packages.
  • Participates in creating the annual budget and evaluates the financial impact of different compensation strategies.
  • Develops and administers annual merit increase processes.
  • Analyzes compensation data to identify pay gaps, inequities, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Review overtime, variable pay, deductions, and final settlements
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax, social insurance, and labor regulations.
  • Manage payroll audits, employee advances, and year-end reconciliations
  • Support payroll automation and continuous process improvement
  • Liaise with external authorities when required (Labor Office, Social Insurance)
  • Prepare monthly payroll, headcount, and workforce analytics reports
  • Issuing legal formalities related to residency and work permits, insurance, visa request and HR letters.
  • Check expenses claims related to travel, transport, shift compensation, standby modes and process them for approval and payment.
  • Managing Staff Loans requests and study for input to final decision in the Loans committee.

Reporting Line

Reports to: Head of HR Operations and Payroll.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • Experience: +5 years of payroll management experience in a leading institution.
  • HR diploma is preferable.

Technical Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law, Social Insurance and Taxation.
  • Proven ability to manage payroll independently with high accuracy.
  • Experience using HR systems (Oracle and AS400).
  • Power BI knowledge is preferable.
  • Strong budgeting and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
  • Proactive problemsolving approach.
