Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

Lead and manage all HR-related initiatives within the organization. The role requires a blend of project management expertise and a deep understanding of HR functions. The role will not only track progress but also provide valuable strategic insights, proactively identify risks, and raise flags when necessary.

Role will be expected to communicate effectively with all levels of HR staff and management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and add value to the overall HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Project Management:

Manage HR-related projects by defining milestones, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while managing resources, timelines, and budgets.

Coordinate resources and stakeholders, providing clear direction to ensure timely project completion.

Provide professional consultancy to HR teams, identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Help define key performance indicators (KPIs) for each project to measure success and ensure goals are met.

Monitor and track KPIs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring corrective actions are taken when necessary.

Proactive Leadership:

Monitor and assess project performance, raising flags and identifying risks or issues before they impact timelines or outcomes, ensuring that the project remains on course to achieve its desired outcomes within the defined constraints.

Suggest and implement course corrections where needed to maintain project goals.

Communication & Reporting:

Deliver executive summaries on project status, progress, risks, and next steps to various levels of management.

Facilitate regular updates and ensure consistent communication across teams to foster transparency and collaboration.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with all levels of HR management and staff to gather updates, offer strategic input, and ensure alignment with departmental and company-wide goals.

Collaborate closely with the Head of HR Projects to ensure consistency in the management approach and timely reporting.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Minimum of 7-8 years experience of a project management role within an HR department, managing HR-related projects, or an HR role that involved significant project management responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of HR functions (talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, etc.).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights and executive-level summaries.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • English fluency is a must.
