Job Summary

The HR Section Head is responsible for managing and supervising HR operations within the manufacturing facility. The role ensures the effective implementation of HR policies, supports workforce planning, oversees employee relations, and ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies while supporting production objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations Management

  • Oversee daily HR operations within the manufacturing plant.
  • Ensure proper implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Supervise HR team members and allocate tasks accordingly.

2. Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Manage the recruitment process for factory positions (operators, technicians, supervisors).
  • Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower needs.
  • Ensure timely hiring to support production targets.

3. Employee Relations

  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary cases.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
  • Support conflict resolution between employees and management.

4. Performance Management

  • Implement performance appraisal systems for factory employees.
  • Support managers in evaluating employee performance and development plans.

5. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs for factory employees.
  • Coordinate technical and soft skills training programs.
  • Support leadership development for supervisors and team leaders.

6. HR Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal regulations.
  • Manage employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits when required.

7. Compensation & Benefits

  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate salary processing.
  • Monitor overtime, attendance, and leave records.
  • Ensure fair implementation of compensation and benefits policies.

8. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Support

  • Work closely with the HSE team to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Promote safety awareness and employee well-being.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certification is a plus.

Experience

  • 710 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
