Human Resources Business Partner Manager
Job Description
The HRBP Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving the people agenda across a diversified portfolio of businesses. This position is responsible for leading the Human Resources Business Partnering function and ensuring that HR strategies, organizational priorities, and talent initiatives are fully aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
The role provides direct leadership and oversight to three dedicated HR Business Partner teams, each supporting a key business vertical:
- Food & Beverage Services
- Shopping Malls / Real Estate Operations
- Retail Apparel & Fashion
Acting as a strategic partner to senior business leaders, the HRBP Manager translates commercial priorities into effective people solutions that strengthen organizational capability, enhance leadership effectiveness, improve workforce productivity, and support sustainable business growth. The role is expected to drive consistency in HR governance while ensuring that each business sector receives tailored, high-impact support aligned to its operational realities and talent needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the HR Business Partnering model across three business-aligned teams supporting the Food & Beverage, Malls / Real Estate, and Retail Apparel & Fashion sectors.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on organizational structure, workforce planning, talent strategy, leadership capability, employee engagement, and people-related risk.
- Drive the development and execution of sector-specific HR plans that support business growth, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
- Provide strategic guidance on organization design, role architecture, team structures, reporting lines, and workforce optimization.
- Lead talent review and succession planning discussions to ensure strong pipelines for critical and leadership roles across the supported sectors.
- Partner with leaders to strengthen performance management practices, reinforce accountability, and elevate overall team effectiveness.
- Support and guide business leaders through organizational change, transformation initiatives, restructures, and culture-shaping efforts.
- Oversee the management of complex employee relations matters, ensuring sound judgment, consistency, fairness, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Collaborate closely with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Organizational Development, and HR Operations, to deliver integrated and business-relevant HR solutions.
- Analyze people metrics, workforce trends, and organizational challenges, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership to improve talent outcomes and business performance.
- Build strong leadership capability within the business by coaching managers on people management, decision-making, performance conversations, and employee engagement.
- Ensure alignment and consistency in the application of HR policies, governance frameworks, and people practices across all supported sectors.
- Lead, develop, and elevate the capability of the three HRBP teams, ensuring strong partnership, execution excellence, and high professional standards.
- Foster a proactive, commercially aware, and solution-oriented HRBP culture that positions HR as a true enabler of business success.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree and/or relevant HR certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including substantial experience in HR Business Partnering and people leadership roles.
- Proven track record in leading HR support for multi-business or diversified organizations, ideally across retail, real estate, malls, food services, or other customer-facing sectors.
- Strong expertise in organizational development, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, employee relations, and change management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build credibility at leadership level.
- Experience leading multiple HR teams or managing HR business support across different business units or operating models.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect HR priorities to business performance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of labor law, HR governance, and best practices in people management.
