HSE Director Experience in Manufacturing industry from 11 to 16 years

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the company's Health, Safety & Environmental strategy

aligned with corporate and operational goals.

Establish and maintain a world-class safety culture across all manufacturing

operations.

Implement safety controls for machinery, electrical systems, and high-temperature

processes.

Ensure safe handling of chemicals, polymers, oils, and insulation materials used in

cable production.

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for manufacturing operations,

maintenance activities, and contractor work.

Identify workplace hazards and implement preventive and corrective control

measures.

Ensure full compliance with the Egyptian Occupational Health & Safety regulations,

Environmental protection regulations, and International HSE standards

Maintain compliance with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001

(Environmental Management) standards.

Coordinate with government inspectors and regulatory authorities.

Lead investigations for workplace accidents, near misses, and occupational injuries.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Develop and maintain emergency response procedures, including Fire emergencies,

Chemical spills, Electrical accidents, and industrial evacuation procedures

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental

Engineering, or related field.

1015 years of HSE experience in industrial manufacturing environments.

Minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Experience in cable manufacturing, the electrical industry, steel, or heavy

manufacturing is highly preferred.

Experience managing HSE in large factories (500+ employees).

Key Competencies
