JOB DETAILS
Job Title: HSE Engineer.
Sector/Business Line: Elsewedy Power Electrical Contracting L.L.C.
Scope: Transmission & distribution.
Department: HSE.
Job Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Accountabilities:
- Implement and Maintain company HSE policy, procedures and the project HSE plan.
- Conduct HSE awareness sessions, Toolbox talks to workforce under his project on daily basis.
- Ensures that all PTW required works conducting regarding Company PTW procedures
- Ensure that all HSE risk assessment control measures are performed in a proper way
- Inspect the project under his authority regularly in daily basis to ensure that all works conducted in a safe way
- Reporting any incidents that happens in his project such as: Unsafe acts, Unsafe conditions, Near-misses or Accidents
- Has a right to stop unsafe works or nonconformity works against project HSE plan, company procedures or HSE standards
- Supervise and lead the subcontractors HSE officers.
- Record HSE Key performance indicators monthly and issue HSE reports
Direct Manager: Site Manager.
Education Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
Qualification:
- Minimum 58 years of experience in HSE roles within the construction/contracting industry.
- Certification: NEBOSH IGC (mandatory), OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent preferred.
- Good knowledge of local HSE regulations and international best practices.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training.
- TAQA approved as HSE engineer
