Job Description

Overview

The HSE Manager leads health, safety, and environmental management for road and infrastructure projects. The role ensures compliance with HSE policies, legal regulations, and international standards to achieve a zero‑incident environment.

Your role

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project HSE Management System.
  • Lead safety teams, inspectors, and officers across all project zones.
  • Conduct HSE audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations.
  • Approve risk assessments, method statements, and emergency response plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, OSHA standards, ISO 45001, and environmental guidelines.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Conduct HSE orientation, training programs, and competency evaluations.
  • Manage reporting of KPIs, safety statistics, and monthly HSE dashboards.
  • Coordinate with authorities, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for safety compliance.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across the entire workforce.

About You

  • Bachelor's'in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental Sciences.
  • 10–15 years HSE experience in infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years managerial.
  • NEBOSH Diploma/IGC, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certifications preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and risk‑management skills.
  • Experience with large‑scale road and highway projects.
