HSE Manager

Currie & Brown are looking for a HSE Manager to join the team in Jeddah, KSA working closely with a key client on projects related to Hospitals.

What will you be doing

• You will help the QHSE lead in implementing & maintaining the company's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
• Participate in verifying the level of compliance with all applicable legislation, rules and system requirements related to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across various projects.
• Participate in QHSE regular project meetings in relation to Quality and HSE management.
• Help increasing safety and minimize risks by fostering a safety and environment mindset among site teams.
• Provide advice and expert input to client projects.
• Review, commenting and following up the received QHSE site reports
• Raise reports to Delivery Management Team and client QHSE Lead on regular basis as required

What do you need

• Previous experience of working on Hospital projects is a must
• Extensive knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001 and 14001 Standards.
• Proven ability to carry out system audits as per the above standards.
• Familiarity with common site inspections, measurement, and relevant testing techniques related to construction activities.
• Proven records of writing and reviewing quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures or plans.
• Effective use of communication resources.
• Good command of English language
• Computer literate with experience of business productivity tools such as MS-Office.
• Graduate of an accredited engineering college, ideally Civil or Architect.
• Accredited Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH Diploma or similar).
