This role will provide hands-on HSE support across multiple group entities. The position is intended to strengthen day-to-day compliance, site oversight, and implementation of HSE management systems while supporting business growth and regulatory requirements.
Job Description:
The HSE Officer will support in implementing and maintaining the HSE Management System across multiple entities within the group. The role focuses on operational HSE support, regulatory compliance, monitoring site activities, and promoting a strong safety culture across offices, industrial facilities, and project locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and controls across assigned entities.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and compliance checks.
- Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and safe work procedures.
- Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action tracking.
- Coordinate emergency response plans, fire drills, and safety training.
- Manage contractor HSE onboarding, inductions, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and statutory documentation.
- Support regulatory inspections and external audits as required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong working knowledge of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Hands-on experience in conducting risk assessments, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Proven capability in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
- Effective planning and coordination of emergency preparedness activities and drills.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to prepare concise reports and present safety information.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites, competing priorities, and operational demands effectively.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in safety or engineering.
- NEBOSH IGC (mandatory).
- Additional certifications such as OSHAD practitioner, First Aider, Fire Warden & ISO 45001 Internal auditor will be an advantage.
- Minimum 25 years of HSE experience across corporate environment, manufacturing, industrial, or utilities sectors.
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industry best practices.
