Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer, based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The HSE Officer will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Daily tasks include conducting risk assessments, implementing safety policies, training employees on HSE practices, inspecting work environments, investigating incidents, and preparing comprehensive reports on safety performance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as risk assessment and hazard identification methods
• Proficiency in developing, implementing, and communicating HSE policies and practices
• Experience with safety training, incident reporting, and safety audit procedures
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualifications
• Experience in the engineering or construction industry is advantageous
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced on-site environment
