HSE Officer
Location: 10th of Ramadan City, Al Sharkia, Egypt
Intertrade, Egypt's leading producer of PVC gaskets, is seeking an enthusiastic HSE Officer to support our workplace safety and environmental practices. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of HSE principles and ISO standards, with a passion for creating a safe, compliant, and environmentally conscious work environment.
This is a full-time on-site role for an HSE Officer at Intertrade. The HSE Officer will be responsible for Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Workplace Safety, and EHS compliance. They will oversee the day-to-day safety practices at our facility in 10th of Ramadan City.
Responsibilities
- ImplementingHSE policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
- Conductworkplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard reporting.
- Supportdocumentation and record-keepingforISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).
- Help organizesafety drills, emergency response training, and HSE awareness sessions.
- Participate ininternal audits, compliance reporting, and corrective action tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree inEngineering, Chemistry, or related field.
- 13 years (internship or training experience accepted);preference for industrial/ manufacturing/ factory settings.
- OSHA Certification(Occupational Safety & Health Administration).
- ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor(or willingness to obtain).
- Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety skills
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)for reporting and data management.
- Strongwritten and verbal communicationinEnglish & Arabic.
