Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Director

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Reports To: CEO

Position Overview

The Human Resources Director is responsible for leading the overall HR strategy and aligning it with the organization's business objectives. The role oversees all aspects of human capital management, including talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, workforce planning, and HR governance.

The HR Director acts as a strategic partner to executive leadership, driving culture transformation, organizational effectiveness, and sustainable talent growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement the organization's HR strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Advise executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational structure.
  • Lead HR transformation and change management initiatives.
  • Establish HR KPIs and performance metrics aligned with business goals.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Oversee recruitment strategies for executive and operational roles.
  • Implement succession planning and leadership development programs.
  • Develop employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.

3. Organizational Development

  • Design and implement performance management frameworks.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and culture-building programs.
  • Drive competency frameworks and career path development.

4. Compensation & Benefits

  • Develop competitive compensation structures aligned with market benchmarks.
  • Oversee salary reviews, incentive plans, and reward programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and corporate governance standards.

5. Employee Relations & Governance

  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Oversee HR audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

6. HR Operations & Systems

  • Supervise payroll, HRIS systems, and HR administration functions.
  • Ensure accurate HR data management and reporting.
  • Drive HR digital transformation initiatives where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 1215+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Minimum 57 years in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Experience leading HR in medium to large organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and HR governance frameworks.
  • Professional certifications (CIPD, SHRM, SPHR, etc.) preferred.
