Job Description

Job Title: HR Director

Department: Human Resources

Job Purpose:

To lead and develop the organization's Human Resources strategy in alignment with business objectives, while overseeing all HR functions to ensure effective talent acquisition, development, retention, and full compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement the overall HR strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Lead workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
  • Design and continuously improve the organizational structure.

2. Talent Acquisition:

  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent.
  • Approve hiring plans in coordination with department heads.
  • Strengthen employer branding and talent pipelines.

3. Performance Management:

  • Design and implement performance management systems (KPIs).
  • Monitor performance outcomes and link them to promotions and rewards.
  • Drive performance improvement plans where needed.

4. Compensation & Benefits:

  • Develop and review salary structures and benefits programs.
  • Ensure competitiveness with market benchmarks.
  • Oversee incentives, bonuses, and reward systems.

5. Learning & Development:

  • Establish annual training and development plans.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning.
  • Promote continuous learning across the organization.

6. Employee Relations:

  • Manage employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure fair and consistent disciplinary practices.

7. Policies & Compliance:

  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with government authorities (e.g., GOSI, Ministry of Labor).

8. HR Operations & Systems:

  • Oversee HR systems (HRIS) and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Analyze HR data and provide strategic insights.
  • Improve HR processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10–15 years of HR experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi labor law and HR best practices.
