Job Description

The HR Director will be a strategic, visionary leader responsible for shaping and executing the human capital strategy across our global operations, with particular focus on its diverse business units in the United Arab Emirates including automotive, retail operations, integrated food and FMCG distribution, logistics and supplychain services, hospitality assets, media and broadcast services, healthcare distribution, digital marketplaces, catering and facilities management. These units drive our multisector footprint both regionally and internationally. This position demands deep expertise in aligning people strategy with business objectives, leading cultural transformation, driving organizational capability, and championing best-in-class HR standards across diverse industries and geographies.

Roles & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & HR Vision

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with long-term business goals across multiple verticals and international markets.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership on organizational design, culture, talent management, and leadership development.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead workforce planning to ensure talent readiness for expansion, including global operations.
  • Design and execute global talent acquisition strategies attracting top-tier leadership and specialists.

Performance & Leadership Development

  • Implement performance management frameworks to drive accountability and excellence.
  • Develop leadership pipelines and succession plans for future-ready leaders in complex, cross-cultural environments.

Culture, Engagement & Diversity

  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture aligned with corporate values and ambitions.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives to strengthen morale, retention, and alignment with organizational purpose.

Compensation & Benefits Strategy

  • Oversee competitive, equitable compensation and benefits programs aligned with market benchmarks.

Organizational Development & Change Management

  • Lead transformation initiatives supporting business evolution and agility across industries.
  • Partner with leaders to manage complex change initiatives, maintaining engagement and productivity.

Compliance, Policies & Governance

  • Ensure HR policies, compliance frameworks, and employment practices are up-to-date and legally compliant across jurisdictions.

HR Technology & Analytics

  • Drive adoption of HR digital platforms and analytics to support workforce decision-making, retention, and productivity.

Desired candidate profile

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including executive roles in large diversified or multinational organizations.
  • Proven expertise in talent strategy, change management, organizational design, and HR operations.
  • Experience with technology-enabled HR transformation and people analytics.
