Our client is a global oil and gas organisation with operations spanning multiple regions and a strong presence across throughout the Middle East. The business supports complex, multi-site operations and maintains high standards of compliance, governance, and operational excellence within a dynamic international environment. We are seeking a HR Generalist to join the People function.

The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities include overseeing and administering payroll in coordination with finance and external providers, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining employee records, supporting performance management cycles, handling employee relations matters, assisting with recruitment activities, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, and contributing to HR policy development and implementation. The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced operational setting.

Candidates should have proven experience in a broad HR generalist capacity, including direct payroll oversight. A solid understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices is essential. Experience within the oil and gas sector or aligned industries is highly beneficial, particularly in environments involving field operations, multi-jurisdictional workforce management, or rotational staffing models.
