Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to support and manage end-to-end HR operations within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing HR policies, supporting employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and partnering with management to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full HR lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
Support talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, screening, interviews, and hiring coordination.
Oversee performance appraisal processes and support managers in performance improvement plans.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, insurance regulations, and company policies.
Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination in alignment with company standards.
Support learning and development initiatives and employee engagement programs.
Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and HR systems.
Partner with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals.
Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution professionally and confidentially.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of labor law, HR best practices, and insurance industry regulations.
Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
Experience working in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
Strategic mindset with hands-on operational capability.
