HVAC Design/Technical Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

HVAC design engineer provides mechanical design of systems/equipment for purchasing and fabrication per the Sales order and in accordance with applicable client specifications, industrial codes/standards, recommended practices, and Eco-Tec procedures and standards.

Previous HVAC engineering experience and a subject matter expert in the discipline of HVAC engineering roles are required.

Development and release responsibility for HVAC Components such as A/C System parts, Air Handling system parts including Ducts, Heater hoses, overall cooling system parts and components.

Choose the appropriate HVAC system mix of products and installation methods to provide the most cost effective and well calculated HVAC system solution.

Must ensure drawings and deliverables meet the HVAC scope and client expectations. Interact with management and client on projects details and attending project review meetings.

Participate in the design, development, or re-design of new or existing productions of an easy to moderate nature through the release, build, and validation process working from direct instruction and/ or requirements

Full knowledge of HVAC manufacturers units design & selection programs and software in addition to knowledge of heat load balance calculation software.

Up-to-date relevant knowledge of the HVAC engineering and industry best practice, appropriate to the relevant discipline.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum of 7 years work experience in the HVAC Engineering field for different system solution review and selection including but not limited to residential, commercial and industrial applications like Unitary System, VRF System, Chilled Water Systems and others.

Also, the candidate should possess the following skills:

-CFD Simulation.

-HAP.

-Revit MEP.

HVAC related functions execution including sales, engineering, application, budgeting and projects installation & execution.

Fluent English and Arabic Language.

Technical education in HVAC, engineering, or construction management preferred.

Ability to effectively read and understand mechanical plans, specifications, and construction bulletin details.

Excellent analytical and problem solving, strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Proficient computer and Microsoft application skills.

Detail oriented, self-motivated, and work well under pressure.

Valid driver's license.

Pass a background check and medical tests/screening.
