The Role
As a Hygiene & OSHAD Manager, you will ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and occupational health across the property. Your role is critical in creating a safe and sustainable environment for our guests and colleagues, in line with Hyatt values and Abu Dhabi regulatory requirements.
-Implement and maintain HACCP Food Safety Management System in compliance with Hyatt and Abu Dhabi Municipality standards.
-Lead internal audits, inspections, and corrective actions for food safety and hygiene.
-Oversee EHS and OSHAD compliance, promoting a zero incident safety culture.
-Train and empower teams on hygiene, food safety, and occupational health practices.
-Drive sustainability initiatives and ensure environmental responsibility.
-Monitor food preparation, handling of high-risk items, and supplier compliance.
-Ensure monthly testing of food, water, and ice samples by accredited labs.
-Investigate foodborne illness cases and guest complaints.
-Develop and review EHS & HACCP manuals annually.
-Maintain OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) management system per ADOSH V4.1 standards.
-Analyze audit results, identify trends, and implement action plans.
-Participate in accident investigations and enforce preventive measures.
-Deliver EHS and food safety training to operational teams.
-Present system effectiveness reports to management.
-Support sustainability projects for environmental responsibility.

Who You Are
Degree or postgraduate qualification in Food Safety, Health & Safety, or Microbiology.
Meets competency requirements per DCT Circulars for high-risk properties.
Minimum 3 years experience in OSH or related field in luxury hotels.
Certifications in HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and occupational health standards.
