Virtucruit is partnering with a leading mining company in Saudi Arabia, to appoint an
ICT Specialist L3 within the
Information & Communication Technology (ICT) function.
This role is responsible for providing
advanced technical support, infrastructure management, and system administration across the organizations IT environment. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems and networks that support critical mining and corporate operations.
The role requires a highly skilled IT professional capable of
troubleshooting complex technical issues, supporting enterprise systems, and maintaining secure and scalable IT infrastructure in a dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems Support
- Provide Level 3 technical support for complex IT infrastructure, systems, and network-related issues.
- Manage and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal uptime and reliability of IT services.
Network & Systems Administration
- Support and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- Administer Active Directory, user access management, and system security controls.
- Ensure effective backup, disaster recovery, and system redundancy processes.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company systems and data.
- Monitor network security and respond to security incidents or vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
Incident Management & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce system disruptions.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
IT Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in IT infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and technology improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement new technologies and solutions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance system efficiency and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or ITIL are highly preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 58 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network support.
- Proven experience providing Level 3 technical support in enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting complex IT environments with multiple systems and networks.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and system administration.
- Experience with network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs).
- Knowledge of Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with backup systems, monitoring tools, and IT security practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
