JOB SUMMARY

The Image and Media Specialist will support the Marketing and Digital Experience

Manager across all visual storytelling efforts at CAC, with a strong focus on photography and videography for web, social, and print publications. This role plays a key part in capturing and communicating campus life and the CAC community in a dynamic, authentic way. The successful candidate must be highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working flexible hours. Availability for after-hours coverage is essential, with a minimum commitment of three days per week beyond regular school hours to support community events and activities.

LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in creating design templates and graphic design assets, including site navigation, visual elements, and content layouts for the main school website and department websites.

Design and produce graphic materials for digital and print use, ensuring consistency with the CAC brand and visual identity.

Take, edit, organize, and archive photography and videography from school events and daily campus life as directed by the Marketing and Digital Experience Manager.

Video and photo editing, preparing media assets for websites, social media, internal communications, and publications.

Assist in coordinating the printing process, including preparing files and liaising with internal and external print vendors.

Perform routine maintenance, updates, and visual enhancements to existing websites as requested by the Marketing and Digital Experience Manager.

Provide training and hands-on support to staff on media creation, including photography, videography, and basic editing techniques, to help teams produce high-quality content independently.

Support research and experimentation with new digital tools, creative technologies, and AI-powered solutions related to graphic design, photography, videography, and editing workflows.

Assist in the responsible integration of AI tools to improve efficiency, creativity, and consistency in media production and digital content.

Contribute to the ongoing development and visual quality of the school's online applications and digital platforms.

Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Digital Experience Manager and the Digital Innovations and Marketing Hub team on projects, campaigns, and community coverage.

Assist with other duties as assigned by the Marketing and Digital Experience

Manager and the Director of Digital Innovations and Marketing Hub.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

All employees at CAC are expected to relate positively to and communicate effectively with staff, students and parents. All employees are expected to organize work efficiently and manage time effectively.

Bachelor's degree in communications or another discipline related to the primary responsibilities.

Have good photography and videography skills with a good eye for professional photos, able to compose a shot, understand framing, color and light to create professional photographs.

Experience in photo/video editing software.

Experience in web design or graphic design.

Basic Knowledge of HTML, digital imaging and Adobe Photoshop, InDesign.

Experience working on a Mac platform.

Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite.

Very good spoken and written English.

Attention to detail and creativity in problem-solving.

Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way to provide training to staff.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is primarily done on the CAC campus in the D-HUB.

SUPERVISION Received

Web services and school publications work is assigned under the supervision of the Web Master. However, once assigned, it is to be completed independently except in special circumstances.

Special Job duties are assigned by the Director of Information Services and performed in collaboration with other team members.
