About the role:

About the Role:

We are looking for an Import Logistics Specialist to support our inbound logistics activities for F&B products. In this role, you will help manage international shipments, follow up on documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and keep products moving smoothly from suppliers to our warehouse. You will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, Planning, and Finance to secure timely, cost-efficient, and compliant imports.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders for shipment bookings and export documents.
  • Create and update purchase orders; support new supplier/SKU setup in the ERP.
  • Assist with GOEIC/Decree 43 compliance and ensure NFSA labelling requirements are met.
  • Handle NAFEZA and CargoX tasks, including ACID creation and document validation.
  • Follow up with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance and minimise demurrage/detention.
  • Review and verify artwork and labelling for F&B regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain an up-to-date shipment tracker with ETAs, delays, and risk alerts.
  • Share shipment updates with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.
  • Support finance in reconciling freight, duties, and shipment-related charges.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 13 years of experience in import operations, international logistics, or freight forwarding (FMCG/F&B is a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of Egyptian import procedures, NAFEZA, CargoX, GOEIC/Decree 43, and NFSA rules for food imports.
  • Strong ERP skills and good command of MS.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to follow up on multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
