Job Description

Role Title: Accounts Manager ICT Sales

Reports To: Sales Director / Business Development Lead

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Accounts Manager ICT Sales to manage and grow a portfolio of clients within the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment, has a passion for technology, and is motivated by delivering impactful solutions that help businesses thrive in the digital era.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the ICT space.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all client communications and ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Understand clients business goals and IT requirements to recommend tailored technology solutions.

2. Sales Growth

  • Identify new revenue opportunities through upselling and cross-selling ICT products and services (e.g., cloud, cybersecurity, software, networking).
  • Develop strategic account plans and work toward achieving sales targets and expanding the client base.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and product demos to prospective and existing clients.

3. Customer Satisfaction & Retention

  • Conduct regular client check-ins to ensure satisfaction and identify new needs.
  • Proactively address client concerns and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues effectively.
  • Focus on building trusted advisor relationships that lead to long-term partnerships.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed about ICT industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor movements.
  • Use market and client insights to inform account strategies and identify business development opportunities.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and report on sales KPIs, including revenue, pipeline activity, and forecasts.
  • Analyze sales performance to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates to management on account health and growth opportunities.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with pre-sales, technical, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure smooth solution delivery.
  • Share knowledge, insights, and best practices with peers to support team-wide success.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 36 years of experience in ICT sales or account management, preferably in B2B or enterprise settings.
  • Strong understanding of ICT products and services, including cloud solutions, cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise software.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop client relationships and drive consultative sales.
  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical thinker with a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
