Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target accounts within the IT sector.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define sales objectives, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of IT sales professionals.
  • Set clear sales targets and performance expectations for team members.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to help team members achieve their goals.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations and close sales contracts with strategic accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and take proactive measures to address gaps.
  • Analyze sales data, trends, and forecasts to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Implement sales processes, tools, and systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends for senior management.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in IT sales management, with a track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Deep understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
