2) Role Overview
We are recruiting an Information Technology Manager IDC Power & Environmental Systems for IDC infrastructure projects in Egypt.
This role focuses on data center power and environmental systems, including technical coordination, infrastructure alignment, implementation support, and project execution collaboration.
The IT Manager will work closely with SolutionMall teams to ensure that IDC supporting infrastructure including power systems, cooling systems, environmental monitoring systems, and DCIM-related platforms is properly designed, coordinated, and aligned with IT system and project requirements.
Typical project scope includes:
- Data center / IDC power systems (UPS, PDU, power distribution)
- Cooling systems (precision air conditioning, CRAC/CRAH, containment systems)
- Environmental monitoring systems (temperature, humidity, leakage, fire detection)
- DCIM / infrastructure monitoring platforms
- Rack power and thermal management
- Edge and modular data center infrastructure
3) Key Responsibilities
Technical Coordination & Requirement Support
- Support clarification of customer requirements related to IDC power and environmental infrastructure
- Assist in translating project needs into structured and practical infrastructure solutions
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility, system compatibility, and implementation readiness
Power & Environmental System Alignment
- Review and support the design and coordination of:
- Power systems (UPS, PDU, backup power)
- Cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, containment)
- Environmental monitoring systems
- DCIM / infrastructure monitoring platforms
- Ensure alignment between:
- IT equipment (servers, storage, network systems)
- Supporting infrastructure (power, cooling, monitoring, environmental control)
Cross-Team Communication
- Act as a coordination bridge between:
- Local project teams in Egypt
- Customers and project stakeholders
- SolutionMall technical and solution teams
- Support communication during:
- Pre-sales technical discussions
- Solution clarification
- Project execution and delivery phases
Project Execution Support
- Assist in tracking deployment and coordination of:
- Power systems
- Cooling systems
- Monitoring systems
- Related supporting infrastructure
- Support on-site coordination when required
- Identify and help mitigate risks related to:
- Infrastructure readiness
- System integration
- Site conditions
- Project delivery coordination
Market & Technical Feedback
- Provide insights into Egypt data center standards, implementation practices, and project expectations
- Share feedback on:
- Common project challenges
- Power and cooling coordination issues
- Infrastructure integration gaps
- Customer-side requirement patterns
- Support continuous optimization of SolutionMall's data center solution framework for the Egypt market
4) Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Data center infrastructure
- Power & environmental systems
- IT infrastructure projects
- IDC-related implementation or technical coordination
- Familiarity with:
- IDC / data center environments
- Power and cooling systems
- Infrastructure monitoring systems
- Cross-team technical coordination
- Ability to communicate technical requirements clearly across project teams
Preferred Experience
- Data center power systems (UPS, PDU, generators)
- Precision cooling systems (CRAC, CRAH, containment solutions)
- Environmental monitoring / DCIM systems
- Rack-level power and thermal management
- Edge or modular data center solutions
Languages
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
- Arabic is a strong advantage
5) Coverage
This role focuses on IDC and digital infrastructure projects in Egypt.
Candidates may support projects across different regions within Egypt depending on project requirements.

This is a project-based role.
