Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on IT Support Specialist to manage and support the daily IT operations of our company. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of all IT systems across offices, showrooms, and operational sites, providing timely technical support and maintaining system security and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, networks, and systems across the company
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, POS systems, servers, and related equipment
- Support and maintain ERP, inventory management, and accounting systems used in jewellery operations
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
- Monitor system performance, backups, antivirus, and data security
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches)
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required
- Support CCTV systems and basic security technologies
- Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and system procedures
- Provide technical support and training to staff as needed
- Ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of IT issues
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role (preferably in retail or multi-branch environments)
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, hardware troubleshooting, and networking
- Experience with POS systems, ERP software, and inventory systems is a strong advantage
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting retail or jewellery business operations
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and access control
- Knowledge of cloud services and backups
- Understanding of business IT compliance and best practices
