Job Description

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of overall IT experience with 35 years in infrastructure project management
Strong understanding of:
Servers, storage, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
Networking & security fundamentals
Cloud infrastructure & migration
Hands-on experience managing complex, multi-vendor projects
Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Enterprise IT preferred
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence)

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects (on-prem, cloud, hybrid)
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies
Coordinate with internal teams: Network, Server, Cloud, Security, DBA, Application, and Support
Work closely with vendors, system integrators, and OEM partners
Drive infrastructure initiatives such as:
Data center setup/migration
Server virtualization & storage
Network upgrades (LAN/WAN, firewalls)
Cloud migration (AWS, Azure, GCP)
DR/BCP implementation
Ensure adherence to ITIL, security, and compliance standards
Prepare and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and status reports
Conduct stakeholder communication, steering committee updates, and governance reviews
Manage change requests and ensure minimal business disruption
Support UAT, go-live, and post-implementation handover to operations
