Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Engineer with 10 years of experience in infrastructure construction and project execution. The successful candidate should have strong practical knowledge of stormwater drainage, road works, water networks, and related infrastructure works, with the ability to manage site activities and coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage infrastructure construction activities on site.
• Plan and coordinate works related to stormwater drainage systems, road works, water networks, and other infrastructure projects.
• Ensure construction activities are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved quality and safety requirements.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve them efficiently.
• Prepare and review site reports, work progress reports, inspections, and other required documentation.
• Assist in planning manpower, materials, equipment, and resources required for construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, UAE regulations, and applicable engineering standards.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning of infrastructure works.
• Monitor project progress and support the Project Manager in achieving project milestones.
• Ensure proper coordination between civil, mechanical, utility, and other related works where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Approximately 10 years of relevant infrastructure construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with TASNEEF-related requirements/approvals or relevant UAE classification/approval experience.
• Strong experience in stormwater drainage systems, road works, water works, and infrastructure construction.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, site supervision, and project execution.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction practices and applicable authority requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on UAE infrastructure and road projects.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and project approval procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good reporting and documentation abilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of relevant engineering/project management software is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
