Infrastructure Engineer

• We are seeking an experienced and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team. This role requires deep technical expertise across on-premises and cloud environments, strong leadership in managing escalations, and the ability to design and enforce standards that ensure operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure, driving automation, and coordinating with global IT leadership to ensure uptime, compliance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance and support of virtual servers on-premises (VMware vSphere). Administer and secure Windows Server infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, Certificate Authority, Active Directory, file servers).

Oversee Linux server administration (Ubuntu) in production environments.

Monitor, configure, and maintain network devices including firewalls and switches. B Should Have (Important)

Manage and support cloud-based virtual servers

Apply knowledge of Docker for containerized deployments.

Monitor and validate backups , troubleshoot incidents, and escalate complex issues when needed.

Ensure high availability through clustering (Windows Failover Cluster Instances).

Administer Microsoft SQL Server databases.

Oversee Servers, SAN, and NAS storage systems.

Scripting ability in PowerShell and Bash for automation.

Install and maintain IIS web servers.
