Job Title: Infrastructure Site Engineer (ISE)

Location: Africa Region

Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Site Engineer is responsible for monitoring, supervising, and coordinating civil works across buildings, roads, and site infrastructure. The role ensures that all construction activities comply with contractual requirements, international best practices, and applicable codes and regulations.

This position requires prior experience in hospital/healthcare projects, with fit-out/design experience highly preferred, due to the complexity and compliance standards of healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor all civil works and infrastructure activities on-site
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and safety standards
• Review contractor submittals, drawings, and technical documentation
• Track daily progress and report on project status
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
• Conduct inspections, attend site tests/FAT, and manage quality assurance documentation
• Identify risks, issue early warnings, and support timely resolution
• Support project close-out, inspections, and handover

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure/civil works
• Mandatory experience on hospital/healthcare projects
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, QA/QC processes, and site supervision
• Experience in reviewing contractor submittals and drawings
• Fit-out/design experience highly preferred
