- Match colors against approved samples, color standards, or customer proofs.
- Use color measurement tools (e.g., spectrophotometer) where applicable.
- Monitor color consistency throughout the production run and make corrective adjustments when needed.
- Record ink formulations and adjustments for repeat jobs.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in ink production.
- Supply inks to printing machines on time and in the correct sequence.
- Coordinate with press operators to resolve ink-related printing issues (shade variation, poor transfer, foaming, pinholing, drying issues).
- Assist in troubleshooting print defects related to ink performance.
- Overseeing the entire ink production process and ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Involves managing the preparation, labeling, and organization of ink formulas, as well as optimizing production efficiency and implementing best practices.
Collaborates with printing team to ensure the required quality is met.
- Control the stock of ink within the shift.
