Job Purpose
Reporting into the Head of Interior Design, the Interior Design Manager works closely in overseeing the design and execution of interior spaces within the organization. They are responsible for developing interior design strategies, guiding design processes, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Interior Design Manager will collaborate closely with other departments to integrate interior design concepts seamlessly into overall project designs while also ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Contribution:
- Support the development and implementation of interior design strategies aligned with overall project and business objectives.
- Contribute to a collaborative design environment, encouraging creativity and alignment across internal and external teams.
- Ensure consistency and quality in interior design approach across assigned projects.
Project Management
- Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of interior design packages, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to implement mitigation solutions.
- Work closely with project managers, consultants, and contractors to resolve design-related challenges and ensure smooth execution.
Design Development & Quality Control
- Develop and coordinate interior design concepts, presentations, and detailed design packages in line with project requirements.
- Ensure design outputs are functional, aesthetically aligned, and consistent with the project vision.
- Review drawings, specifications, and material selections to ensure accuracy, compliance, and design integrity.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements, preferences, and expectations.
- Coordinate design solutions that align with client vision and project objectives.
- Address feedback, queries, and comments in a timely and professional manner to maintain strong working relationships.
