3D interior Designer

• Job Summary:

The Interior Designer will create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces by assessing space requirements, determining optimal furniture placement, and selecting decorative items, all while adhering to relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements.

• Duties/Responsibilities:

Understand clients needs and the needs of the people using the building to develop design concepts and establish final briefs.

• Consider materials and costs according to budgets.

Conduct feasibility studies for projects.

• Collaborates with architects, engineers, painters, and builders to further understand how interior space should function, appear, and be furnished.

Prepares sketches or other visual aids to demonstrate preliminary designs to client.

• Consults with client to select materials, furnishings, and decor.

Research and gather information and photographs relating to the project

• Produce sample or mood boards to present to clients

Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

• Uses design applications to prepare and illustrate final plans.

Work closely with quantity surveyors to establish costs and work schedules on larger projects, with architects and other design professionals to determine the best use of space, and with manufacturers and contractors.

• Preparation of shop drawing/ Architectural drawing / 3D design as on required.

Determines timelines and project costs and presents accurate estimates to clients.

• Orders or obtains necessary materials, adhering to project and budget specifications.

Oversees the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements. Act as a project manager for the client throughout the construction stage, coordinating the design on site and managing the construction team - this may be required in some roles. Supervise work at the design stage and on site

• Ensures client satisfaction by visiting the project on completion with the client; resolves any complaints or concerns.

Maintains current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing interiors.

• Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Basic understanding of building codes and inspection regulations related to interiors.

• Knowledge of products AutoCAD, 3D Modeling software, MS office
