Role Description
This is a full-time Interior Design role located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Interior Design will be responsible for overseeing design projects, managing interior design teams, preparing construction drawings, collaborating with architects, and selecting furniture for projects.
Qualifications
Your responsibility will encompass the following key areas:
- Meeting with clients to understand their products or services, target audience, design preferences and the design objective to ensure the final design is human-centric
- Preparing the full customer journey, including mood boards
- Overseeing the design process from concept to final delivery
- In-depth knowledge of local market materials, finishes, and surface treatments
- Strong background in furniture selection and material specifications, with the ability to produce required drawings and detailed documentation.
- A leadership-oriented personality with excellent management skills and effective communication with on-site contractors and execution teams.
- Translating abstract business concepts or requirements into conceptual designs
- Working with the team to brainstorm creative ideas using different techniques, such as storyboarding or mind-mapping, to visualize different stages of the project
- Creating a design outline and coordinating with the client to ensure it aligns with their expectations
- Communicating the design outline to the team, preparing project deliverables, setting timelines and delegating tasks
- Conducting creative sessions with the team to define design goals and objectives, design elements, user experience and branding
- Overseeing the project from start to finish, monitoring progress and ensuring its timely completion within the specified budget
- Reviewing the design with the client, incorporating their feedback and assessing the design to ensure it meets project goals and objectives
- Bachelor's degrees in interior design engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Saudi Arabia in architectural design and development, with focus on design concepts development, technical detailing, and construction documentation.
- Strong proficiency in architectural design software.
- Experience in producing marketing materials and 3D shots form design drawings using computer-aided design.
