Interior Design Intern
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Interior Design Intern to join our design team. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work on real-world projects, from initial concept development to final execution, providing a comprehensive look into the professional interior design industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Support: Assist the design team in creating mood boards, material palettes, and color schemes for various residential or commercial projects.
Drafting & Modeling: Develop 2D technical drawings and 3D renderings using industry-standard software.
Sourcing & Research: Research furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), as well as innovative materials and latest design trends.
Site Coordination: Assist in site visits, taking accurate measurements (field surveys), and documenting project progress.
Presentation Prep: Help prepare client presentations and organize design libraries and material samples.
Requirements:
Education: Current student in their final year or a recent graduate in Interior Design, Applied Arts, or Architecture.
Software Proficiency: Strong skills in AutoCAD, 3ds Max (or SketchUp), V-Ray (or Lumion), and Adobe Photoshop.
Aesthetic Eye: A strong sense of space, scale, and color harmony.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Portfolio: A digital portfolio or samples of work demonstrating design thinking and technical ability.
